Formal and Informal assessments are administered to assess:

  • Speech Language communication

  • Cognition

Each evaluation includes:

  • Initial interview with parent(s) and child
  • Observation in academic and/or social environment
  • Formal evaluation consisting of a battery specific to areas of concern
  • Comprehensive written report including DSM-V diagnosis, if applicable
  • Feedback session with parent(s)

Child Development Specialist

The Child development specialist offers free consultation and advice to  parents and educators in assessing a child's developmental needs, and works with the parents to devise a therapy plan designed to work on the developmental issue and remedy the situation in a way best suited to the child's needs. The specialist  offers family group counseling to provide emotional support for parents and other caregivers.  The specialist also monitors programs and therapies to ensure the best is done for the child and to make sure there is progress.

Workshops and Training

Work shops and training are important to gain more knowledge and understanding in different areas of special needs and gain more practical knowledge.

Early Intervention

This program provides therapy and educational support services for  young children with special needs. It equips them with necessary skills and helps develop their potential, thereby overcoming developmental delays as far as possible improving on:

  • Physical skills (reaching, crawling, walking, drawing, building)
  • Cognitive skills (thinking, learning, solving problems)
  • Communication skills (talking, listening, understanding others)
  • Self-help or adaptive skills (eating, dressing)
